This month World Localisation Day is back and we are celebrating with a special conversation and Bonus Episode with Helena Norberg-Hodge. We first caught up with the founder of Local Futures in episode #4 and heard how she champions the movement to galvanise worldwide localisation & enforce systemic change. This year, groups on every continent are working to rebuild community fabric, reduce ecological impact and increase human wellbeing, by bringing the economy back to the local level. Through farmers’ markets, permaculture, community gardens, small-business alliances, micro-grids, alternative education projects, and so much more action is being taken to support local food production but also local food consumption.
